‘Good Christian Bitches’

Get ready America. We’re about to be the backdrop for ABC’s ‘Good Christian Bitches’ The adapted television show will be directed by Darren Star the creator of 90210, Sex and the City and Melrose Place. The television show is based on Dallas author Kim Gatlin’s novel, Good Christian Bitches also set in Dallas. The fictional story follows Amanda Vaughn, a recently divorced mother of two who moves back to the Bible belt where Botox pumped believers are all around: For Heaven’s sake, don’t let God get in the way of a good story, the website reads. No word yet on whether or not they’re keeping the GCB title. Or whether this show will end up on the same cancellation schedule as the latest Dallas-shot shows have: Chase, The Good Guys and Lone Star just to name a few. Don’t know if you qualify as a GCB? You can take a quiz here. To be fair, I haven’t read the book and shouldn’t judge, but I sincerely hope they drop the title. I know it sells but it’s so blasphemous it bothers me. I don’t think it’s funny to be called a bitch by a Christian or anyone else.
